PROJECTS: Electronic Logbooks

In 2005, the Gulf of Maine Lobster Foundation acquired a series of Thistle Marine HMS electronic logbooks in order to provide the lobster science community with additional tools for data collection. Through a partnership with the Maine Department of Marine Resources, the electronic logbooks were successfully used in a lobster trap saturation study on Monhegan Island in Maine in the Fall of 2005.
